No support for Windows XP after April 8 2014!
Windows XP has been extremely popular over the years and is still used by millions of people worldwide. But the operating system, first introduced in 2001, will soon be retired. Microsoft will offer no additional security updates or technical support for Windows XP after April 8, 2014.

Microsoft will end the sale of Windows 7 in the fall of 2014
Microsoft has announced that as of October 31 2014 no new computers will be sold with Windows 7 Home Basic, Home Premium or Ultimate pre-installed on them. Manufacturers of computers may not supply computers with these editions of Windows 7 after that date.
